OUR STORY
In October, Lesli had felt the push from God, to purchase a camper for those struggling in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. She had only set out to purchase one camper to help, but one camper led to more and that in turn led to needing more help. In November, JJ, our founder, connected with Lesli, after he saw a call to action on Facebook to drive a camper to Tennessee. Once he made it to Tennessee, he witnessed the heartbreaking aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
Inspired by the devastation JJ made it his mission to assist those in need. Helping Hands Disaster Relief was born January 2025. Since that first trip, we as a team, have successfully delivered over 40 campers, alongside countless donations of food, clothing, and essential supplies to support the communities of Tennessee and North Carolina.
